Yes, We Are Open!

Hello, everybody! This is Lori Titus, founder of The Bee Folks, and the main beekeeper around here. I have been asked one question A LOT in the past few days, so let me take a minute to answer it.

Yes, we are open.

We are part of the food supply chain, as an agricultural business. Therefore, we are considered an essential business, and we are remaining open during these unusual times.

As long as the pickup option remains on the website, you can place an order for pickup. However, for the safety of our staff, we are not currently allowing customers inside the office. For pickup, please contact the office at 410-489-6091 to arrange a day and time. We will then leave your paid order on a shelf just outside the office, for a contactless pickup. There will be no shopping allowed inside the office, no exceptions.

We are still shipping, no problem. The US Post Office is open. UPS is open. They are picking up every single day, even in the event of a shelter-in-place order. We have staff who lives on site, we plan to ship orders daily.

We are maintaining social distance within the office. Our project manager has his own computer and desk on one side of the office, our office manager has her computer and desk on the other side of the office. Surfaces are wiped several times a day with disinfecting wipes.

All employees have been given the option to work on projects from home if online orders to a trickle, or if they do not feel comfortable coming to work. All employees completely understand the necessity of staying at home if they are at all questionably ill.
