There are several hundred acres of Mango grown in Hawaii, not including backyard trees grown for personal use. Native insects are excellent at pollinating the fruits, but studies have shown that the addition of honeybees helps increase the fruit set of each plant. Our Mango Honey is 100% pure honey derived from the pollintion of Mango Trees in Hawaii, and has a flavor reminescent of the fruit. This is raw honey.
