We periodically get people who are "getting back to nature" and want "real honey". They eventually purchase our Comb Honey. We are then amused when they come back to us asking how to get the honey out of the comb so they don't have to eat the wax!

Comb Honey is eaten wax and all. The wax is very thin, and melts when it hits your biscuit or oatmeal. Or, just chew it like bubblegum until the honey is gone! A very wise beekeeper once told me, "A teaspoon of raw honey a day will help keep you regular."

The best way to prove you have raw honey is to eat it straight from the comb. (If it is heated, the comb melts!) Comb Honey contains small amounts of pollen and minerals, and retains the natural enzymatic activity of raw honey.
