Hawaii is known for many things - beautiful beaches, amazing sunsets, and firey active volcanoes. The most famous of her volcanoes is Mauna Loa, or "Long Mountain", historically known as the largest volcano on Earth.
Surrounding Mauna Loa are coffee plantations, in regions unsuitable for sugarcane. World-famous Kona Coffee is grown on the western slope of Mauna Loa. However, Ka'u Coffee, grown from similar stock on the southern slope of the volcano, has become a rising star.
Our Coffee Blossom Honey is derived from the pollination of Ka'u Coffee in February and March, on the southern slope Mauna Loa, on the big island of Hawaii.
